As per technology changes GPS navigation is not that much in use today and Nokia 2710 ended the remaining market of GPS navigation. Nokia launched S40 handset and their team built Nokia Maps with the life time navigation license in it. It’s the best handset of Nokia.

Nokia 2710 Navigation edition is made by Finnish corporation. They made this edition to get rid of the bar from issue, quadrangle -band GSM/EDGE connectivity, user interface, integral GPS features.

This navigation edition is having 2.2 inches diagonal display with QVGA resolution. It’s just 0.2 inches small of display from Nokia 6210 Navigator as this model comes with 2.4 inches and QVGA color display resolution.

This cellular device having many features, like big storage for phonebook, support 2G network, with TFT display, one touch key for maps to access the Nokia Maps to find the exact location, etc. By just one touch key we can access the maps.

This edition support GPS receiver with A-GPS functions, walk and navigation voice guide lifetime features through Nokia Maps, car vessel in a sachet with keen keyboard key. These features been used to launch the navigation software. Another feature added to this phone is you can upload more maps through Map Loader application, which is built in the navigation edition. S40 is having inbuilt Nokia Maps version 2.1 and its loaded with local maps. The one missing feature of this edition is the digital compass. This feature is not added to the phone. They also provide the firmware to update the phone so that the issues of phones get resolved.
