Nokia Proves Its Commitment to CDMA
Nokia launches 3 new CDMA handsets (6316s, 3806, 1506). The mobile phone giant recently announced that it would be releasing the 6316s, the 3806 and the 1506, in China. These mobiles range from featured-packed to very basic. The 6316s is the phone which has the most to offer. Conversely the 1506 is the most bare of the three. Each of these will likely appeal to different markets, with the 1506 probably proving to be the best choice for those interested in spending only a minimal amount of money for a mobile phone.
The 6316s comes with a music player, a 2.0 megapixel camera, dedicated music keys, the ability for individuals to browse the Internet and also send and receive e-mail. It has imaging, built-in GPS, Bluetooth 2.1 and a 2.2 QVGA display screen. It comes in gold, red and black.
The Nokia 3806 is very similar to the 6316S. It has many of the same basic features including video recorder, a 2.0 megapixel camera and 2.2 QVGA screen. It also has a microSD card slot where individuals can add more memory if needed. One of most notable features is the health assistant application. This app is designed to help users improve their health. This phone can be purchased in white, rose gold and black.
As stated above, the 1506 is the cheapest of the three phones. It has minimal features but is a good basic mobile. Individuals will be able to utilize the phone’s voice recorder and speakerphone. It comes in two colors, black and plum.
The Nokia 3806 and the 6316S are both scheduled to hit the market in the early part of 2010. The Nokia 1506 is expected to be available by the end of 2009. Since there are only a few more weeks in December, the 1506 should be out any day now. If it is not, then buyers should expect to see it in stores in 2010.
