The US Markets Gain Access to the Nokia N97 mini and E72

December 7, 2009

Nokia N97 Mini Nokia fans in the United States will also get their fair share of Nokia N97 mini and the E72, two of the most sought-after mobile phones released by the Finnish mobile phone manufacturing giant in the current year. It has only been some days since these phones were introduced in the American markets. US users can catch these phones through Amazon and Dell, apart from the Nokia online shop for the US users.

Both the newly introduced phones are available to US users with much lower rates than in the European markets. The Nokia N97 mini is available for $479 at both Amazon and Dell, which is no less than a $100 lesser than what users are being offered in Europe. Similarly, the Nokia E72 is available for $469, which is also a little less than $120 lower than the price of the same phone in the European markets.

With such price tags, the US users are really in for a treat as far as their holiday shopping lists for this Christmas are concerned.

The N97 mini is the smaller version of its high-profile sibling with more or less the same form factor. But what makes the N97 mini the cheaper version of the two is the fact that the N97 mini offers much lesser internal memory, that is, 8 GB in contrast to the 32 GB available in the N97. However, the memory in the N97 mini is still extendable up to 16 GB with the help of a memory card. Other such differences include a smaller touch-screen and a different QWERTY keypad design of the sets, with obviously N97 offering superior features. But the functional value remains the same.

The Nokia E72 is also a decent phone, which has been introduced with a few updates from its predecessor E71. It features a 5.0 mega pixel camera, which has been improved from a 3.2 mega pixel camera in the E71, and offers a good consideration for its price.
