The E72 is one of the sleeker devices to grace the E series. It is strong, and with the rounded edges, is actually more pocket friendly than you may expect. The device has chrome accents on its borders making it look very stylish and expensive. The screen is nice and bright making it easy to view documents on. In sunlight, it might be more difficult to read the screen, but this is a common problem shared by most mobile phones. The back of the phone is colored, making it look really good. The metallic finish is a big improvement from the more “plasticky” models in the Nokia phone line up such as the Nokia 5310.
The keyboard of the E72 is very similar to the one on the E71. The only difference is that the keyboard on the E72 is larger. The keys on the E72 are also larger making it easy for the user to use even if he/she has large fingers. The keys are also better spaced when compared to devices such as the Blackberry Bold. The E72 has an ambient light sensor on the front allowing the brightness of the screen to change depending on the brightness of the environment. There are the standard shortcut keys on top of the key board. They include a 5 way navigation D pad which looks slightly different. This key looks somewhat like a NaviWheel and is very easy to use. The camera is on the back of the phone. The flash is an LED one which allows decent shots to be taken even in low light conditions. The operating system of the E72 is the same as the E71. This device will probably come with Feature Pack 2 which will make it even better. The phone will probably feature on the high end of the price spectrum.
Overall, the E72 is just an improved E71 in terms of appearance. If you have an E71, then the E72 is not the phone to consider as both phones are identical in terms of features.
