Touchscreens, hmmm? It seems like only 18 months ago they were all like, ooohhh, look at me, I’m a touchscreen, you want to touch me don’t you, mmm, yeah, you want to press my bits and slide your sweaty digits over my responsive interface, yeah, oohhhh, you cheeky monster you, but you can’t afford me, oh no, you can’t, because I’m all expensive and exclusive and made only for the people with more money than sense, mmm.

Wait, that was only 18 months ago. Or at least that’s how we remember it… Anyway, point being, touchscreens have come a long way recently. Something that is made all the more apparent when a Nokia 5230 lands on your desk with a look that says, ooohhh, look at me, wouldn’t you like a caress of my curves, but with a price tag that screeches, A’WIGHT DARLIN, FANCY A QUICKIE RAWND TH’ BACKATHA GARIDGES, YEAH?

Which, ahem, is to say (obviously), that the Nokia 5230 is rather jolly good value for money, providing as it does a wide range of very competent features for a price that one has to see before one quite believes it.
