There plenty of new impressive handsets that are coming out and as much as we would want to include the possibly upcoming X5-01 Symbian smart phone, we would have to hold back.

Sure, the square form factor is quite fun and the color choices are certainly attractive for many users. But overall, this handset still lacks some key features that would have made it the perfect listening buddy to have around.

But first, a quick look into the device itself: featuring a nice 2.3 inch display, a slide out QWERTY keyboard, plenty of colors to choose from and the Symbian^3 operating system; the X5-01 makes for a very eye catching device. It has an excellent music player, an intuitive playlist arrangement system and great audio quality that is sure to satisfy any music fan.

Sadly, the device still lacks a few major features that would have attracted its target market better. First off, the device does not have social networking integration. It may not seem like a big deal since it does have a browser and support for HTML, but lacking instant access to updates and posts is something that people will certainly complain about.

GPS is also another important feature that has not been added in. Aside from not being able to access Foursquare (which would have made for some hilarious promotions on this device), a good chunk of this phone’s target market like to use location based services -which are linked to having GPS.

Overall, it is still a great phone to have, but since there are other choices, like the Nokia X6 or other devices in the XpressMusic series, music fans might want to hold off on buying this device. With the exception of the phone’s really eye-catching visual appearance, this new Nokia handset certainly falls under the mediocre category.

The Nokia X6 is an impressive mobile phone –spec wise. With regards to price, it was originally one of the most ridiculously priced smart phones of 2009. The 32Gb version of the X6 Comes with Music is a mobile phone with a big additional cost made to offset the price of being able to download an infinite number of music tracks from the Nokia Music store.

While some have expected the device to increase Nokia’s hold of mobile phone enthusiasts who love music, many quickly knew that the price tag would set people off. In terms of hardware, the X6 was a pretty decent smart phone that was in the mid to slightly low range tier. The price however, was fully high-end; the additional cost discouraged people from buying the device.

Nokia has been busy reviving the x6 and has now come up with a revision; the new Nokia X6 is a 16GB that mirrors everything about the original, with only less internal memory and no more comes with music package. Many are saying that this new Nokia X6 would be one of the cheapest smart phones to be released this year.

The new promotion for the Nokia X6 is the come get entertained. While the device itself does not have any freebies (short of the 25 free track downloads from the Ovi store), it does have access to some exclusive content on the online store. This will bring focus on the X6’s functionality as a media player for both music and video.

The X6 will also benefit from Nokia’s pervious announcement that they would be offering free, unlimited SatNav service to all their devices with GPS and Ovi maps functionality. The announcement was made last week and very few Nokia smart phones are not able to access this new feature.

Music fans will certainly celebrate the re-release of the Nokia X6. Originally, this phone came out last year in its original 32GB form. The phone was impressive, boasting of high end smart phone specs, a great Nokia music download deal and a hefty price tag. Despite the X6’s potential, it did not sell well due to the high price. Now, Nokia is bringing out the device once again, but with a slightly changed deal that might make people consider getting the device this time around.

The biggest problem that the X6 originally had was the fact that most of its target market already had a large digital music library. The X6 was famous for its “Comes with Music” deal which enabled users to download an unlimited amount of tracks from the Nokia Music Store. Sadly, this was not that much of an incentive for people who already have all the music they want. In the end, the deal simply bumped up the price tag on the device.

The new version of the X6 will have pretty much the same hardware as the original except for the huge 32GB internal memory, the new version will only have 16GB. Since the device supports micro SD cards, this is not a major loss. What is important is that the 16GB X6 will not have the “Comes with Music” promo –making the price on the device significantly cheaper.

The X6 will come with a 3.2 inch capacitive touch screen display (360 x 640 pixel resolution, 16 million color display capacity), a 5 mega pixel camera (with autofocus, LED flash and Carl Zeiss lens), an ARM11 434MHz processor, and a 1320 mAh battery –the same exact specs on the 32GB version.

Read the rest of the details regarding the Nokia X6 16GB straight from the source.

Ah, Nokia and its silly little names. With it’s 6309s and 6390s and 6039s that even though you think they should have absolutely nothing in common with each other. Well, actually, those 3 definitely won’t have anything in common with each other as we just made them up, but you get the point. Drab, pointless, forgettable names are Nokia’s forte. Which is sad, really, because as a manufacturer or high-end consumer mobile devices, you really should be known for other things than naming things craply.

So, another day, another fantastic phones with a crap na- hang on… what’s this? The X6? X6?! Only two symbols. Only one number?! Good heavens, what on earth is going on. We’re terrified. This is… hmm… well… kind of exciting, in a geeky kind of way. Because we’d actually be quite proud of answering, ’so are you going to get a new phone any time soon because you’re current handset smells and seems to attract pigeons and wails like a dog instead of ringing and it looks at me funny and can you just put it away again please I don’t want it near my food,’ with ‘yes, yes we are, we’re going to buy – wait for it – we’re going to be purchasing – stand back now – the Nokia EX-SIX. Yes, you heard us right, the EX-SIX. BOOM!’

Then if anyone was still actually sat with you, you could explain how the Nokia X6 is just about the best music phone on the market, not to mention a cracking smartphone in its own right. As this Nokia X6 review well testifies. Or as you’ll find if you have a gander at these Nokia X6 deals. Then the people who were still sat with you will ask what you mean, because they won’t be able to see or click on the hyperlink if you just say ‘rreview’ or ‘ddeals’. Then they’ll leave. But it will be okay. It will be alright. Because one day soon, you shall own the Nokia X6, and all shall be good.
